LYNDEN SPORTS CENTER HEWESCRAFT DEALER

Why Buy HewesCraft

Hewes Marine Company has been manufacturing aluminum fishing boats in Colville, Washington since 1948. Our expertise and reputation in the aluminum boat market have been proven year after year, and generation after generation. We were your great-grandparents’ boat of choice, your grandparents’ boat of choice, your parents’ boat of choice, and we would be very proud to be your boat of choice.

Our boats are a lifetime boat built by a lifetime company.

Our company does not compromise on the expense it takes to build a safe product.

The measure of a good boat is not how it performs when conditions are fair, the water is calm, and the sun is shining, but rather when conditions are poor, the water is rough, and you suddenly realize your life depends on your wits, your experience, and the boat brand between you and the water.

Safety is not what Hewes Marine Company does to meet minimum requirements—it is simply who we are.

HewesCraft Boats Construction Story

Construction

Hewes Marine Company has been manufacturing aluminum fishing boats in Colville, Washington since 1948.

First and foremost, all Hewescraft products are made by families for families.  Safety is our top priority in the design, manufacture, and marketing of every product we offer.  Safety is not the easy path or the cheap path, but it is the right path and our only path.

Built To Last

Every Hewescraft, regardless of length, is designed and manufactured to float in the event of an emergency—if the boat is submerged or capsized.  This is not a US Coast Guard or Transport Canada regulation on boats over 20 feet in length.  This is our own standard.  We are one of very few manufacturers in the entire industry, and the only one in the Pacific Northwest, engineering products to meet this standard.

ENGINEERING

Each product is researched, designed, engineered, and prototyped to produce a consistent, manufacturable product.  There is no guess-work and no “over-engineering.”  Hewes Marine has heavily invested in engineering over many years.  Many boat builders claim their boats are engineered to be better than the rest, without ever having a genuine engineer set foot in their facilities.

All models are scrutinized and refined each year to continually improve products, designs, and styling.  Many of those changes are driven by you, the customer!  We cherish feedback from our loyal customer base and strive to make improvements suggested directly from the proving grounds on the water.

Hewes Marine’s engineering department is powered by a large team, made up of degreed engineers, degreed naval architects, degreed designers, and a small team of highly skilled and experienced master craftsmen, all operating under the mission of developing our products to be the safest, most durable, most ergonomic, best-value product in the market…period!

The safety, quality, and consistency of our products doesn’t happen by accident. It happens by design.

Flotation Every Hewescraft, regardless of length, is designed and manufactured to float in the event of an emergency—if the boat is submerged or capsized.  This is not a US Coast Guard or Transport Canada regulation on boats over 20 feet in length.  This is our own standard.  We are one of very few manufacturers in the entire industry, and the only one in the Pacific Northwest, engineering products to meet this standard.

US Coast Guard & Transport Canada Every Hewescraft is designed and manufactured to exceed the US Coast Guard and Transport Canada.  We never simply meet the bare minimum.  We have outstanding relationships with both agencies, and we are committed to exceeding compliance requirements—it is simply the right thing to do.

ABYC Every Hewescraft is designed and manufactured to meet the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) standards for all products.  Adherence to ABYC standards is strictly voluntary, requiring a commitment to design, performance, and safety that goes well beyond government regulations.

Function After safety, this is the next concept championed in our mission statement.  We strive to produce each Hewescraft so that it becomes the most useful tool to any angler.

Hewescraft’s lifetime warranty on every hull and weld assures that each boat will stand up to the tough paces that we know our boat owners put their boats through.
